Invested by Jiangsu Guoxin Union Gas-fired Thermal Power Co. Ltd., Yixing Power Plant is located in Yicheng Chengbei Industrial Park , Yixing City, about 2.5km south of the city center. It is composed of two F-grade gas turbines (improved type) "One-on-one", multi-shaft, Extraction-condensing type combined cycle heating unit. The gas turbine is a V94.3A unit supplied by Shanghai Electric and the steam turbine is a large-capacity condensing unit. The total rated heating steam flow of the two units is 400t / h. These two unit passed a 168-hour trial run on June 8, 2015 and August 8. Guoxin Union and Shanghai Electric signed a LTSA (long term service agreement) for two gas turbines in April 2016. On October 18, 2024,both parties signed the second phase of long-term maintenance service contract for gas turbines, announcing that the two companies have further extended their long-term mutually beneficial and win-win cooperation model. This is Shanghai Electric's first gas turbine Phase II LCA service contract.

Guoxin Union and Shanghai Electric signed a long term service agreement  for two gas turbines in April 2016. Several Minor Inspection and first HGPI have been completed for two gas turbines. At the same time, a number of upgrading projects such as burner transformation and turbine blade upgrading were carried out. Completed many firsts of Shanghai Electric&39;s F-class gas turbine service.On October 18, 2024, both parties signed the second phase of long-term maintenance service contract for gas turbines, announcing that the two companies have further extended their long-term mutually beneficial and win-win cooperation model.

Several Minor Inspection and first HGPI have been completed for two gas turbines. After the first HGPI and upgrade, the single gas turbine unit output was increased by 17MW, the efficiency was increased by 0.78%, the maintenance interval was extended by 8000EOH, and the operation reliability was improved. This HGPI used a number of core technologies for analysis, including key technologies for matching and upgrading turbines for aging compressors, precise control technology for secondary air systems, matching and commissioning technology for the operating points of the entire machine, verification and evaluation techniques for improving maintenance performance, and heat transfer in the combustion chamber, Analysis and verification technology, turbine blade life analysis technology, etc. The technical level of this HGPI reached the international advanced level.

In April 2024, the first gas turbine overhaul of SGEC was successfully completed. After the overhaul, the unit's single-unit output and efficiency were greatly improved, and the unit's operational reliability was further enhanced.
