Shanghai Metro Line 14 started its fully automated and driverless operation as scheduled on the test tracks outside Nanjing Puzhen Vehicle Plant on May 15. The test run of the pilot project, part of a new round of rail transit construction in Shanghai, marks another solid step towards "smarter rail transit solutions".
