Shanghai Electric Guokong Global Engineering Co., Ltd. signed an EPC contract concerning comprehensive low-rank coal utilization project with Shanxi Guokong Yuanerzhou Green Energy Science and Technology Co., Ltd. It is the group&39;s first EPC contract of chemical project valued at over 1 billion yuan, processing 3 million tons of coal per year.

With extensive state support, the project focuses on clean and efficient coal utilization, energy conservation, and emission reduction. As a key move of Shanxi in transforming the traditional resource-based economy, the project is of critical politico-social implications.
