China Resources Power (Caofeidian) Co., Ltd. has recently completed a 168-hour test run for its No.4 generation unit. This means that two 1000 MW coal-fired units in Phase II saw a smooth start-up at the first attempt. The project is the first of its kind in Hebei. It has China&39;s first 1000 MW generation unit with five cylinders and six exhausts, and its steam turbines and generating equipment are provided by Shanghai Electric.
