On the afternoon of November 27, Shanghai Electric, together with the Shanghai Stock Exchange and Shenwan Hongyuan Securities, successfully hosted the “Tour of SSE-listed Companies on Quality – I’m a Shareholder” event. More than 30 institutional investors and individual shareholder representatives, including participants from Rosefinch Fund, Wealspring Asset, and Xuncent Asset, visited Shanghai Electric. Through plant tours and interactive discussions, they gained an in-depth understanding of the company’s technological innovations and strategic roadmap in high-end equipment manufacturing, building a strong communication bridge between the listed company and its investors. Shanghai Electric’s Vice President and Board Secretary, Hu Xupeng, attended the event.

Hu emphasized that Shanghai Electric consistently prioritizes investor relations management. He noted that the event is a concrete demonstration of the company’s “proactive IR” philosophy, aiming to provide investors with a firsthand understanding of Shanghai Electric’s breakthroughs and potential in developing new quality productive forces.

During the visit, the investor delegation toured Shanghai Electric Power Generation Equipment Co., Ltd. Turbine Plant and Shanghai Boiler Works, engaging in a “zero-distance” exploration.

At the high-end equipment exhibition hall of the Turbine Plant, investors were introduced to Shanghai Electric’s core achievements in supporting China’s national energy strategies, from heavy-duty gas turbines and nuclear main pumps to offshore wind power equipment. They gained a comprehensive view of the company’s end-to-end capabilities across the energy equipment value chain. At the Blade Center, investors experienced the immersive application of the “digitalization–manufacturing integrated smart turbomachinery ecosystem,” observing how precision manufacturing technologies empower the performance of critical high-end equipment components.

The delegation then visited the Zero-Carbon Future Equipment Testing and Demonstration Center located at the Shanghai Boiler Works. Through tours of the CO?-rich syngas–to–green methanol high-efficiency synthesis pilot unit and the water-electrolysis hydrogen production laboratory, investors gain insight into the company’s technological progress in hydrogen energy and green fuels. By viewing the Taonan Project sandbox model, investors obtained an intuitive understanding of the planning and implementation of China’s first large-scale green-methanol project integrating green hydrogen and biomass gasification. They also explored innovative pathways for converting “wind power + biomass” into green fuels and saw real-world commercialization cases in the intersection of new energy and chemical industries.

During a roundtable discussion, Hu Xupeng engaged in detailed dialogue with the delegation, addressing key topics of investor interest such as energy storage, coal-power equipment upgrades, green methanol, order conversion, and profitability improvement. Investors remarked that the site visits and direct communication with senior executives gave them a more comprehensive and in-depth understanding of Shanghai Electric’s technological capabilities, strategic planning, and sustainable development potential.

At the close of the event, the Investor Services Department of the Shanghai Stock Exchange presented Shanghai Electric with an “I’m a Shareholder” commemorative trophy, recognizing the company’s proactive investor relations practices and exemplary performance.
