Shanghai Electric SHMP Pulverizing & Special Equipment Co., Ltd，(hereafter referred as the“ company”), is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Shanghai Electric Group Co., Ltd. ,and is affiliated with Shanghai Electric Power Generation Group.

The company was established in October 2015, in accordance with the requirements of deepening the reform of state-owned assets and enterprises and structural adjustment. It was funded by Shanghai Electric Group Co., Ltd. and integrated the advantages of pulverizing, special equipment, and general machinery (including metallurgy, forging, cement, and mining) business resources to form a new company. The company is committed to further enhancing specialization, refinement, and comprehensive service capabilities, and striving to create a new platform for industries of pulverizing, special equipment, and general machinery. In November 2018, the company passed certification and obtained the certificate of "High tech Enterprise".

The company is located on the banks of the Huangpu River in Minhang District, southwestern Shanghai, covering an area of approximately 0.3 square kilometers. It has a total of 298 employees, including 95 professional and technical personnel (3 professor senior engineers, 34 senior engineers, and 30 engineers). The main products of the company include pulverizers of high speed ,medium speed and Low speed, special equipments of military products of radar, warships, aerospace, wind tunnel, and general mechanical products of metallurgical complete equipment, forging & pressing equipment, cement and mining complete equipment. The annual sales of various products exceed 1 billion yuan. The company has obtained the "three in one" management system certification ,certificate for quality, environment, and occupational health and safety, as well as the "weapon and equipment quality management system certification certificate" for military products, and has been awarded titles of "Excellent Supplier".
